1. Introduction

Welcome to Trafficmint. Trafficmint is an iOS application designed to help you view and analyze your Google Search Console data directly on your mobile device. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Trafficmint app. By using Trafficmint, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Trafficmint collects the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

Google Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we access your basic profile information (name and email address) to identify your account and display it within the app. This authentication is handled securely through Google Sign-In.

Google Search Console Data

With your authorization, we access your Google Search Console data through the official Google Search Console API. This includes search performance data such as clicks, impressions, click-through rates, and average position for your verified websites.

Apple ID Information

If you choose to use Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID information as provided by Apple, which may include your name and email address (or a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email).

Device Information for Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to send you alerts about significant changes in your search console metrics. This information is used solely for delivering the notifications you have requested.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Display Search Console Data: To retrieve and present your Google Search Console performance metrics, allowing you to monitor your website's search visibility on the go.
  • Send Performance Alerts: To notify you of significant changes in your search metrics, such as sudden drops or increases in traffic, helping you stay informed about your website's performance.
  • Provide Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide assistance when you contact us.

4. Data Storage

Trafficmint is designed with a privacy-first approach. Here is how we handle your data:

On-Device Processing

Your Google Search Console data is processed entirely on your device. When you request data, the app fetches it directly from Google's servers and displays it locally. We do not route your data through our servers or store it externally.

Secure Token Storage

Your authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain, Apple's encrypted storage system designed specifically for sensitive credentials. This ensures your login information is protected by hardware-level encryption.

No Server-Side Storage

Trafficmint does not maintain backend servers that collect or store your personal data or Search Console information. There is no database on our end containing your analytics data, search metrics, or account details.

5. Third-Party Services

Trafficmint integrates with the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In and Search Console API

We use Google Sign-In for authentication and the Google Search Console API to retrieve your search performance data. Your use of these services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Sign in with Apple

If you choose to authenticate using Sign in with Apple, your data is handled according to Apple's Privacy Policy.

App Store Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All transactions are handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy practices.

No Third-Party Analytics

Trafficmint does not use any third-party analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not collect data about your app usage patterns for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We are committed to keeping your data private:

  • No Selling of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or Search Console data to any third parties.
  • No Sharing with Third Parties: Your data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their own purposes.
  • Google API Communication: The only external communication of your data occurs when the app communicates directly with Google's APIs to authenticate your account and retrieve your Search Console data as requested by you.

You can revoke Trafficmint's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page and removing Trafficmint from the list of connected apps.
